Kvarner
Kvarner region of the Croatian coastline is a bay (also referred to as the Kvarner Gulf) in the northern Adriatic Sea, located between the Istrian peninsula and the northern Croatian seashore. Besides the bay itself, the Kvarner consists of its islands Krk, Cres, Lošinj and Rab. The largest city in Kvarner region is Rijeka, which is the cultural and economic center of the region. The main tourist destinations are Opatija, Crikvenica, Selce, Novi Vinodolski, Krk, Baška, Malinska, Cres, Mali Lošinj, Rab and Lopar.
